This activity incorporates a wide range of photos of ponds and various wildlife that lives in and around a pond. The activity provides an initial seven page introduction of what children see as they walk around the pond.
In a second portion, thirteen fraction problems are provided in a storybook form, to test the children’s ability to read the story problem and perform the fraction work.
The questions can be read to the child if needed by clicking the text box provided. Data recording and reporting is available if you have a full copy of IntelliMathics 3® or IntelliTools Classroom Suite®.
To simply run the activity requires a copy of the Classroom Suite Player®. Student check work is built in.
