The Heart

This activity was created in the Learning Magic “Text and Graphics TGCR” template. The child is presented with up to ten pages of content. After each reading page there is a related page containing a multiple-choice question which tests and assesses the child’s comprehension on the information provided. The Circulatory System activity has nine reading and question sets. The child can either read the text or click on the text box to have it read aloud to them.

The activity provides a detailed description of the human body’s circulatory system inclusive of the arteries, veins, capillaries, bone marrow, and the heart and its parts. A review of the components of our blood i.e. red and white blood cells, and platelets is also provided. The flow of our blood through the body including the lungs is also included.

In all of these activities we are capturing the child’s responses in a report and filing the child’s work in their appropriate portfolios using the IntelliPics Studio 3® reporting capabilities. (Data recording is not available using the player.)

Applications needed: IntelliTools Classroom Suite®, IntelliTools Classroom Suite Player®, or IntelliPics Studio 3®.
Curriculum area: Science and Language Arts.
Level: Grades 3-5.
