This activity is based upon the IntelliTalk 3® Writing in Science Template. It provides children with an opportunity to write about far away worlds. Characters available here include Captain Bernard and various aliens. Additional art work including scenes from Captain Bernard’s travels are from the Nardidian Thanksgiving story which was included on the Learning Magic Cause & Effect and BEYOND CD.
It is our hope that children will read and listen to those stories and then use this activity to write further about Captain Bernard and other worlds.
Characters include a martian, an alien, a Nardidian, a Saturnite and of course Captain Bernard. Other images include a spaceship and background pictures of Nard, a desert, and a watery world. An appropriate word bank is also provided to help children write about space exploration.
The image of Captain Bernard is from the IntelliTools Classroom Suite 3® Picture Library. The other images are original images developed by Learning Magic Inc. and are protected by copyright law. Use of these images beyond this activity is prohibited.
