The Legends of the Blues is an activity that discusses the evolution of the Blues and its original sources to the Blues music of today, and includes original music from fourteen of the most influential Blues singers and musicians.

This activity incorporates a wide range of photos of ponds and various wildlife that lives in and around a pond in an initial seven page introduction. In a second portion, thirteen fraction problems are provided in a storybook form relating to the pond.

This activity was built to help children in a middle school life skills classroom prepare and make apple pancakes. It includes a sequencing activity and a writing activity supported by word banks.
